Kullu-Manali Trip by Class VII and VIII

Kullu-Manali Trip

Students of class VII and VIII had an opportunity to enjoy the trip to Chandigarh, Kullu and Manali. The trip was conducted by The Crazy Holidays Team from 30th September to 5th October,2016.

On the first day of the trip, the students checked in at Velvet Clarks Exotica , Chandigarh. The city is extremely clean and green. After freshen up and lunch, we proceeded to visit the Rock Garden. The Rock garden highlights the exquisite network made from industrial and urban waste. The sculptures have been made by using a variety of discarded waste materials like broken bangles, frames, metal wires, play marbles ,etc. It is an amazing garden with its unique creations.

Students were then taken to the Elante mall for shopping. Back to the hotel, they had their dinner and night stay in Chandigarh.

The next day, after freshen up and breakfast, we checked out from the hotel and departed to Manali by private coach. Lunch was provided on the way. We arrived late in the night and checked in at Hotel The Manali Inn.

On the third day, after early freshen up and breakfast, we proceeded for Manikaran by sumo vans. Manikaran is located on the banks of the river Parvati, north-east of Bhuntar in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. We had a visit to the Gurudwara and a Temple. After lunch in the hotel, we proceeded to visit the Hidimba Temple and the Vashisht temple. Later, we went to the Mall road in Manali, whose both sides are full of shops. We happily shopped extraordinary clothes, eatables, shoes, bags, etc.

The next day, after early breakfast, we proceeded to visit the Rohtang Pass. It is a high mountain pass on the Eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas. It connects the Kullu valley with the Lahaul and Spiti valleys of Himachal Pradesh. We were mesmerized by the picturesque view of nature. Back to the hotel, students had a nice time dancing on the DJ music, and then had dinner.

On the fifth day, after breakfast, we checked out of the hotel and proceeded to Kullu by private coach. After visiting the Shawl factory, on the way, we then proceeded to Chandigarh. We had lunch on the way and then late in the night checked in at The Ramada Hotel in Chandigarh.

On the last day of the trip, after freshen up and breakfast, we checked out from the hotel to Chandigarh Airport, where we boarded the return flight to Bangalore. Lunch was served in the flight. We now have wonderful memories to cherish!
