The IIHM YOUNG CHEF India Schools 2015, which is supported by INCREDIBLE INDIA, Ministry of Tourism , Govt. of India is a competition where class 11 and 12 students across the country participate and showcase their culinary skills and battle to win the coveted title after a competition span of more than 3-4 months . This competition which pioneered in the year 2011 is currently in its fifth season
The competition span lasting for a span of 3-4 months starts across campus cities around the month of April , post which the Finals take place in London ,UK in the month of September. The regional finalists are taken to London campus for competing under international standards completely under the liability and expenses of the International Institute of Hotel Management, India.
It is a moment of pride to announce that Tanay Jain of class XII from our school has been adjudged the regional finalist of the Young Chef 2015 defeating three fifty students of various schools of Bangalore at the Semi-final round. He was also the Winner of "Best presented Dish". He was awarded with a trophy and a cash prize of Rupees Thirty Thousand. He will be flying to London for finals to be held on 18th September 2015
