Ms Aditi Seshadri, a student at Delhi Public School, Bangalore North school represented the India U-18 team at the inaugural “Qianán Water city Cup” 2015 World Junior Sudoku Championship (WJSC), held at Beijing from July 23-26, 2015, under the aegis of World Puzzle Federation. Aditi, accompanied by Shristi Kejriwal (Mahadevi Birla World Academy, Kolkata) and S Pranav Kamesh (Maharishi Vidya Mandir) was part of the U-18 India team that finished second. Their team won the silver medal. She finished ninth in the individual U-18 category.
Aditi was also a part of a record breaking event for the largest multi-sudoku puzzle consisting of 200 standard sudoku grids achieved by Beijing Sudoku Association (China), in which 200 participants from ten countries took part. She received a Certificate of Participation from Guinness World Records in the Officially Amazing category.
Earlier this year, in January, Aditi had finished first in Bangalore and third all over India in Sudoku Champs 2015, an event held over multiple schools in major cities to select the Indian Team for WJSC.
